MDV Walks - "Good Morning Walnut Creek"

Thanks to the Walnut Creek Downtown Business Association, Mt. Diablo Village seniors are having a "Good Morning, Walnut Creek!" Walk on Wednesday, December 10. We will meet at 10 a.m. at Lesher Center Plaza and check out the latest and greatest of our beautiful downtown. We will stop at Ananas Coffee and Li Cha Boba Tea and sample their goodies. Bundle up and be prepared for the fun adventure.

You must register to attend this event. Wrist bands will be provided to receive tasting samples.

Janet Frazier, founder of the Network of Care, lost her daughter in a fatal traffice accident. Her other daughter was in critical condition and Janet stay by her daughter's bedside for days forgetting to eat. A kind nurse shared her sandwich and gave Janet the strength to continue when she almost fainted. She later started the Network of Care to bring bag lunches to people who have loved one in hospitals. How does she do it? Can we help? Come and find out.

We are working hard to put together our First Ever Holiday Party with music, dance, food and fun.More programs are still in the making. You don't want to miss this history making event at Mt. Diablo Village. We may even have an opera singer. Please stay tuned. Come dressed in your cultural festive colors and let us have a party the MDV way!
